These rules are established for the comfort and enjoyment of all our members. We ask that if you know of someone breaking any of them, please let them know in a gentle but firm manner. Some of these may seem very familiar if you have read the etiquette page. They may not be aware of the rule, and a little courtesy goes a long way. If they become rude, or otherwise indicate that they cannot or will not comply, please get hold of one of the staff members. We will resolve the situation. We are all here to have a good time and enjoy both ourselves and others, but we can't do that without some common ground.

1.) "NO MEANS NO!":
This is probably the foundation of or lifestyle. Very basically, the right to say "Yes" is accompanied by the right to say "No". Further explanation is neither necessary nor required. Don't be afraid to be firm. Be polite, but be firm. Unfortunately, if you are not clear in your statement, you may be giving another person or couple the wrong impression. Face it, many guys don't understand or take "hints" too well. Although you know what you mean, there are some people who only understand "NO!".

2.) No DRUGS!:
We have a ZERO tolerance policy on this. Obviously, we cannot allow either the use or possession of any controlled substance on premises. We will not debate this issue at all. What you do on your property is your business, but you don't do it here! No alcohol is sold on the premises of Klub Layden. Please do not drink excessively or we may be forced to ask you to leave.

3.) No Prostitution!:
There will be no selling of services of any kind on the club premises. If caught soliciting, you will be removed from the club and the local authorities will be notified. No questions asked.

4.) Couch Area's and Theme Rooms:
No smoking in the lounge rooms or the theme rooms. This rule is to protect the sofa's, love seats and theme rooms for obvious reasons. We all want to have a "Hot time", but let's face it, that's not the kind of heat we want! Don't monopolize the theme rooms. We need to keep the theme rooms for partying until after 3:00 a.m.

The facilities are here for everyone's use, but they are not unlimited. Let's be polite. If you need to get some sleep, we have couches, blankets and pillows available in the very back couch area.

When using the furniture, be it bed or chair, we need to ask that if you are not dressed, please place a sheet or towel between your bottom and our cushions. If you are planning on staying over with us you need to let us know in the office when you arrive for the evening. As long as we have space available, we are only too happy to have you stay and party all night. 

Quiet time begins at 3:00 a.m. feel free to continue to play, but be respectful of those trying to sleep.

5.) Respect!:
This rule is very simple. If you see someone that you are attracted to and that person is part of a couple. Don't just approach that one person. Respect that they are part of a couple and speak with both parties. Ignoring one or the other in a couple is not the way to enjoy the evening. Likely you will find yourself not appreciated for the really nice person you might well be.

6.) DJ's
The Klub house DJ's spin their music up until 1:00 a.m. taking requests. After 1:00 a.m. they may choose to play longer. If not one of the staff will load the CD players with a variety of slower, quieter music until 3 a.m. when quiet time begins. No requests are taken at that time. Harassing of the DJ's will not be tolerated. Do not enter the DJ stand without permission and never ever touch the equipment or CDs that may be in it.

7.) Cameras, recording devices, cellphones:
No cameras or recording devices of any kind are allowed on premises. This is for the protection of all of our members and their right to privacy. This is the primary reason that no one is permitted to carry bags, purses, or coats inside of the club. All items must be placed into a locker.

No cell phones are permitted on inside of the club. If you need it on due to children, we do have a couple of options available to you. You can have the phone checked into the office and should it ring one of the Krew will happily come and get you. Feel free to speak to one of the staff in the office to find out more about these.

Don't forget to pick up your phone on the way out! 

8.) No Weapons:
No weapons of any kind will be tolerated on premises of Klub Layden. If you are found with such not only will the weapon be removed but so will you from the premises.

9.) New Dress Code:

As you all know, Layden has been undergoing some big changes lately.  We know we are the best club out there, but we want everyone else to know it too. 
In keeping with our "Image Overhaul" we are implementing a dress code. 
Many of you already follow this code, but there are some who don't, and until now it wasn't an issue.  However, looking around some evenings, it looks more like a back yard BBQ than a night club atmosphere.  We're going to try to change that.

This is your new Layden dress code*.  We ask that everyone follow it and if you talk to someone who's coming for the first time, be sure they are aware as well.

No Tank Tops. 
No Cut-off T's or shorts - Dress shorts and denim shorts are OK
No sleeveless shirts (this applies to mens muscle shirts... ladies, feel free to wear your "dressy" sleeveless tanks and T's)

We'd like everyone to "Dress To Impress" when you come out to Layden.  Wear nice pants or skirts, dresses, slacks, polo shirts and even T's (nice, no holes, tears, stains, etc.)

Many people make their decisions based on first impressions... of what they SEE.  We'd like to make a great impression on everyone.  We already know we are the friendliest, most welcoming and most fun... now let's prove we are also the classiest! 

Of course, we encourage ALL to bring or wear something sexy!  Sexy is ALWAYS welcome! 

*Dress code will be waived as necessary if a certain "Theme Night" warrants it.
